access LTE internet and GNSS via a... module
as a fallback, internet can be provided by wifi tethering or usb tethering
read CAN traffic (via pcan_usb) and parse useful telemetry
perform real-time voice synthesis using a GPT-SoVITS model (trained locally, runtime needs modifying)
voice recognition with local whisper
cloud LLM-based reasoning
navigation capabilities using GCP APIs (or equivalent)
vision via a USB camera (IMX662; on the car unit, roles and inference pending)
